Italic Pattern
Italic lives in three places: the wordmark itself, the hero caption, and one emphasized phrase per paragraph.
1 — The wordmark. Ferguson, Santoro & Georgetti is italic serif; EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANTS underneath is tracked small caps. This is the source of the brand's italic voice.
Want to start an Online program but don't know where to begin?
2 — The hero caption. Verdana 600 italic on scrim, over imagery. Always a question.
In order to achieve the highest goals, a company cannot be afraid to inspect what it expects.
3 — Editorial emphasis. Use sparingly — at most one italic phrase per paragraph.
DON'T
Don't italicize entire paragraphs, UI labels, or button text. Italic is a highlighter, not a voice.
